What’s in El Paso, Texas? I’ve driven through on lots of tours and demos but never stopped and seen what’s here. In my first couple of days I’ve found a few good parks and some really cool skate spots. Here’s a couple parks that I skated. The photos aren’t the best… I was anxious to grab my board and start skating.
“CAROLINE SKATEBOARD PARK”
563 N. Carolina Drive
El Paso, Texas
“VETERANS SKATEBOARD PARK” (below) This park is a back and forth park… you’ll find yourself taking turns unless you skate around the center pieces and hit the flat bars and 2 butter benches. There’s also a fun rainbow rail that you can slappy grind up and over. The pyramid in the middel and banks ramps make it good to practice your quarter pipe / banks tricks and do tricks over the hip or over the whole pyramid. Look out for a kids named Wheeler shredding trying everything everywhere!
“WEST SIDE SKATEBOARD PARK” (below) This little park is my favorite so far. It’s on the north side of the Trans Mountains. It has a whole bunch of ledges, banks, hubbas. I’ll post more pictures up soon of this park and the others. Don’t miss this park!
